The Age of Consequences

Operation Free is excited to share THE AGE OF CONSEQUENCES, an inspiring film that, through the lens of US national security and global stability, investigates the impacts of climate change on increased resource scarcity, migration, and conflict. Whether a long-term vulnerability or sudden shock, the film unpacks how water and food shortages, drought, extreme weather, and sea-level rise function as ‘accelerants of instability’ and ‘catalysts for conflict’ in volatile regions of the world.

Michael Breen, President and CEO of the Truman National Security Project, is featured throughout the film as he explains Operation Free’s mission and vision for the future. Later this month, Truman Project Chapters across the country will preview the film and continue to raise awareness on the national security imperative for combating climate change.

The Age of Consequences premieres nationwide on January 27, 2017 in New York City. For more information on the film and how to screen a viewing in your area, please visit the website here.
